Our Story
The club used to play at the Highway Club, just off the A45 in Coventry. In 2017, our running costs became prohibitive and we were forced to leave. We had been homeless as a club since then and have spent considerable funds hiring courts from other clubs, leisure centres and local schools.
In 2018, we secured a partnership with Earlsdon Rugby Club and became Earlsdon Highway Netball Club. The rugby club have given us some land to build courts and in 2021, planning permission was granted for 2 new floodlit courts.
The project was going to cost £230,000. Through a combination of fundraising, grants and a successful Crowdfunder campaign, we were delighted to finally have all the funds in place to deliver.
Our Financial Supporters
FCC Communities Foundation – This is a not-for-profit business that awards grants for community through the Landfill Communities Fund.
Sport England – Via the ‘Places and Spaces’ Crowdfunder initiative, securing the legacy of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, we were able to secure match funding on our campaign.

The Build
8th April 2024: After a bad weather delay, the build was underway! Whilst the contractors work hard on moving 1000 tonnes of topsoil, our committee are busy working with local company Hickling and Squires to get the advertising boards and court name boards, that were purchased through the Crowdfunder, printed.
Work continued throughout April and May and we held the grand opening of our wonderful new courts on 14th July 2024.
The courts have been well received by all visiting clubs, and we have enjoyed having a proper home again (complete with changing rooms and a bar!).
